Just so Poncho and Tony's many friends know,Tony was good enough to loan The Detroit Historical Society the Rendon and La Haie T/F car.We have an exhibit called "Velo-city: A history of speed in the motor city." The dragster will be the crown jewel of the exhibit. I'm in the process of getting it cleaned and detailed for the display. I can't thank Tony and Al Bergler enough for their help. The exhibit opens to the public on September 26. If there is some interest, maybe we could do a hamb tour? It is a small exhibit, but worth the look in a pretty cool museum. It's an honor to be part of remembering the career of Poncho.
