Beautiful fo sho..........did all of that over the axle tube exhaust mastery go to waste? Clearance issues? Heat? I got's ta' know......................(the finished exhaust does look bad***, though). p.s. put a chip seal on your driveway (so you can leave skid marks and cut down on all the wipe downs ;#p ) any idea how that happened, Blake?
Stunning car, kudos. The details are astounding. With that said, IMHO the glove box lid as well as the license plate detract from the finished product. Their patina is totally incongruous with the rest of the car.
Watched the whole build tread.....Very nice!!!!.....Very well done By Keith and the photographer too!!!! Thanks for posting Ryan!!
It is spot on. 28-29 on 32 rails one of the best looking combos ever. I'll probably take some heat, but I've never been a big fan of the milk truck wheels. I know the history and the reasons for running them, and I understand the rarity. I would have this set-up for the dry lakes and a pair of p***enger car wheels for the street!
Ryan, I think you have done went and over did it.....GREAT photos of an outstanding HOT ROD...Don't touch a fuc#@ng thing on it....It is perfect.......Everyone that had a hand in this build should be very proud. One of the best to come along in some time.
Great car, and great photos and coverage. Ryan, for us readers this partnership you have with Keith being next door has huge benefits. It's like you're an imbedded journalist with a hot rod builder. I can't wait to see what else he churns out and you cover. Thanks. I'm sure it takes a lot of effort for everyone, but the end product is just awesome.
Thanks for the coverage of the whole build. So amazing to see something turn from a collection no parts to a piece of art.
Came out great, Keith did an outstanding job. Only thing I can see that I would change is the location....................Needs to be in my garage.
I could stare at those pics for hours. I'm going to do a '29 on 32 rails one of these days and can only hope it turns out half as nice as this one.
Great car Keith. Outstanding. Thanks for the great photos Ryan. Feels like your there looking at it in person.
Great pictures and just a really nicely put together car. I still don't really get the glovebox and agree it doesn't really fit in with the finishes on the rest of the car but I will take guys word for it that it doesn't translate well in pictures and in person it works.
License plate isn't an issue to me, but agree with the lid, I understand blending old stuff in, but really think the GB lid should have looked/thought out harder. But we both in the SJ Valley, what do we know?
Yeaaaaaahhhhh Buddy!!! That looks so good!!!! I retract my statement on the dash it looks great too. RED HOT RODS FTW!!!!
Now that's "traditional"! This baby is a time traveling machine I would predict that very soon, this hotrod will be a benchmark, an icon, a legend! She's beautiful! The images are great and they leave me longing to experience all aspects of this car in person. This super fine example would look super cool on salt, at the dawn's early light (or anywhere, for that matter)! Thanks for making me aware, Ryan.
All of these repurposed parts found their former glory, and a new lease on life as part of this beautiful red roadster They are back, and here to stay!
