    After helping with the Carrillo Roadster restoration, it is amazing to see something the same style but with completely different build components. Definitely a Big Balls machine

    Always one of my favorite cars, along with similar '27 roadsters by Don Waite and the Dahm Brothers. Just beautiful cars.
    Here's another picture of it with a different nose, obviously in the same time frame, because of the same lettering on the side. Wondering if he was just experimenting for more speed. As far as looks, the track nose wins hands down over the flat nose. SCAN0792.JPG

    Ray was very personable and built some nice Hot Rods, but he's also the man responsible for
    putting seat belts in production line cars, saved countless lives. Thanks for the post Ryan...

    The details show that he did not miss a trick.
    Makes me wonder what that Ford sounded like, while bringing in those times.
    Neat that you have ties to the backers.
    Plus, including the thread of their historical racer.
