tomorrow is set up day, I finished the last car I'm working on at 8:00 tonight and the upholsterer was going to have a long night after me.
I'm going on Sat. afternoon. not just for the cars. I like that six dollar domestic beer in plastic cups! [IMG]

I plan being there at the opening bell as usual. I am really looking forward to this one and hoping that is going to be better than the Rod & Custom ( disappointing ) and the Seattle shows. I know that these others are run by the same guy but they have been declining in quality, heck evan the usual venders have quit attending.

  14. Jim I did not realize you had changed your username. THANK YOU for the beer and tour. You rock... Jason...

  15. We used to make the rounds from the Speck, down 82nd to Kings and then down Sandy Blvd to the TicToc and across the Burnside bridge to cruise Broadway. Ahhh, Broadway....the only place I ever saw where there was 3 lanes of bumper to bumper hot rods and musscle cars all the way around the circuit. That loop must have been 3 miles around and took about an hour and a half to circumnavigate on a Friday or Saturday night. And don't forget all the cars parked on the sides of the streets! Must have been 10,000 hot cars on a cruise night with lots of hot womens! In fact, that's where I met my first wife!

i'll be there fri. night, sat., & sun., greaser girl's car is there this year, can't miss it, it's the only purple chevy fleetline with green flames there!. got back from set up last night, some of the usual stuff, but lots of cars, & a pretty good selection, i think everyone will be happy with the show, much better than the rod&custom show...chip
