That is excellent! Captures the home-town low-buck drags that everything else built on... I bet you could go to the concession stand, get a hot dog and coke and be back to your seat while these two ran!
OK...Where is this track, and are they getting set to reopen it ? I swear I have recently read some info and viewed pics of this place ! Cannot be too many tracks built like this with the trees and uphill runoff area. Any help for an old guy's memory ? Dave
OMG could it be the Rats are Traditional after all? Interesting mix of cars, some real piles others pretty nice, Platts, Petty's & the Honker don't seem to fit with most of the cars there especially the dragsters I'm wondering where the pics. came from, who put this together? any details? Interesting to see Petty's car there I don't think he made to many passes in it before the crash It's amazing when you look at these old pics. and some of the ones on YouTube, that more people weren't killed or a least injured. I love this kind of stuff I can hardly wait till CHRR...
i know where i would have been hanging out...i like the one with the 2 vettes and the one is leaving the line crossed up... its also cool to see all the flagmen jumping at the line, all the old drag bikes, and the drag coupes. very cool link,....thanks.
