Thanks guys. I'll throw the old Offy in the bead blast cabinet and make it more presentable, even if it is just for looking at.
DAMN LUV the look of Hard lines with a fuel block going to those carbs instead of floppy do it cheap rubber lines.. NICE touch
I remember the car. The distinctive dash, soft yellow interior contrasted against the black, nice round ass... Glad you got it. Nice to see you improving it. Cool, man.
Awesome job on that intake. Fuel lines and blocks look particularly good, an area not so well done many times!
I Don't know anything about 265's but remember reading something about the camshaft and it needing something to lubricate the distributor that is different from other small blocks. Sent from my SM-T350 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Nice job! I feel your pain with the fish/eye problem. It’s frustrating. Armor-All is terrible for that as well. I had a ‘27 roadster with MG knock-off wires that I had Armor-All’d the tires on, had a TERRIBLE time with fish-eye on the wheels, even after stripping and blasting them. That's true, but it causes fish-eye, it floats EVERYWHERE in the shop, and it doesn't wash off (out) of paint with Prep-Sol.
What a Great little car (and you’re making it even Better)! With all the improvements, you’ll Never stop driving it. Sent from my iPad using H.A.M.B.
That's the goal. I never thought we would get so much enjoyment out of one cheap car. That's the way it usually goes.
I had a T bucket along the same vein back in the early 2000's, I think I had about $3,500 in it. We drove the piss out of that car.
