Joe Hamby sent me some photos today. He;s got a great little rail going. Looks like he's havin a blast trearing up the driveway. Bet he'll be on the track before long. Tell us more about it Joe.
Well Randy these pictures were taken the day that Mudflap's friend saw us running down Lynn Lane. It only has a bone stock motor with one Holley 1 barrel carb. The tank is home made, the front axle is a 46 ford , A laydown radiator, standard ******, homemade ****tershield, Jeep Cherokee rear end. Corvair steering box, foot brake, hand brake on the left wheel only, for staging, 5 and a half in wheels. I started a while ago. and this is the only thing that I have ever built. the body is now done, it wasn't when this was taken, but i had to learn how to use a roller to do the cowling metal, all aluminum except for the steel firewall. I think my steering wheel was made for a "low rider" or a go cart. And I Have done A few burnouts. If you look real close you can see the tire smoke.
Hi! Drewfus, the wheelbase is 124 in, I'm not quite finished yet, when it's done, more pictures. It will do a burnout now.
