Returning from the top end of Pendine Sands after the racing, just as the rains began and the tide came in...

 

I was the passenger. Just around that bend a piston let go - first run on a rebuilt motor. End result, trucked home.

Just an average cruise night ride home. No idea who was in the coupe ahead of me, just a weeknight ride home, about 72deg rollin on a nice rural 2 lane. He pulled into a driveway and stopped short of going in just to blow the horn and send a thumb out the window as I passed, and I did too.

 

This is on the way home from Rust Revival this year while following a 1956 Plymouth Fury on Missouri 27. I can't wait for next year, what a great drive and incredible show.
