The Road through your Windshield...

On my way back home tonight

 

Is that at 3AM?

 

With the physical condition of our potholed roads, it may be literally the road through our windshields...

 

Some from my drive to a show a few hundred miles away a couple weeks ago....on the drive back it started pouring rain and then snowed later on....Montana changes landscape very quickly.

Had to leave Merc about 150 miles away last weekend because it started snowing here (80 degrees during the day)....took off at 5 after work today to go get it, just getting back to town at 10....we got bugs in Montana....

 

REALLY?? . I believe the BUICK would just have LAUGHED at the snow.

It saw snow in post 2617.....never again. The old whitewalls ain't so good in the slush....And the Merc is Buick Nailhead powered, if that makes you feel better .

 

@2devilles , sure hope you got all the bug guts off! Looks like a serious mess.

 

@RodStRace, the windshield pic didn't do it justice, but yeah, about 3 hours last night and she's back to "spec"....What I do is get some SprayWay Glass cleaner, and soak it for about 15 minutes, then spray it again, and again, and let it soak in. Then the regular old garden hose gets most of the nasty***** off.....Wash, re-wax and done...well, except the radiator, but that'll be a weekend project.

This is today in my Dads woody the first time in over 16 years since it has been driven, and the first time I have ever driven it.

Around 8am and -2C then the fog comes in. After half an hour it was up to above zero, in a breezy 3W heater never worked as water temp never got to 100F.

The last views out my windshield. Sold my A this past weekend. It was a tough decision to let him go, but I needed the cash to finish my other projects. This car has provided many miles and smiles over the past 25 years.
