The Rodders Journal and the Hirohata merc ?

which issue has the Hirohata article? which two covers do i look for?

 

I'm pretty sure it's number 8, and it has the Hirohata Merc on the cover. One cover is a front 3/4 view, and I think the other is a rear 3/4 view.

yeah, number eight.

we have been sold out of it for quite some time, but if you have a current issue it has the dealers list in it. a lot dont have issue eight in stock but some do. try julianos on the east coast and or so-cal on the west, as it was the bare metal so-cal roadster featured on the A cover. also, graffiti publications down in austalia still has a ton of 'em!! hook it up while the dollar is good!

thanks fellas, there's a guy on ebay selling what he says is issue #5. he list the contents as , article on the hirohata merc, 1996 oakland roadster show, and the ala kart. the cover has a partly primered 32 three window shot from the side with a flathead in it. so, is that #5 or #8? i tried to order it as a back issue a few years ago, i sent the money and i got a real nice letter explaining that they were sold out. but, i never did get my check back. i did score the trj hirohata poster at a swap meet recently for $5.

That's number 5. It's got an article on the Hirohata Merc, but it's not the in-depth feature on the restored car.
