    Welding, welding and more welding. Cut off the front horns, skinned the top of the crossmember, raised the top surface which lowered the car about 1-1/2", notched for lower rad hose clearance. I should have it rolling before the weekend.

    Hood side and top are being louvered at Roys louvers in Walpole m***.

    What gauge aluminum is the hood top and sides?

    Great build. Now that my coupe is driving like a champ I just need interior. So I am already in the hunt for a new project. Yours looks fun. How is that motor? It did I miss that in the thread?

    Took it for a quick blast up the street last night, seems to go alright but the motor has a few stuck valves that need attention.

    I have a strange feeling this motor is gonna grenade..... The mushroom cloud will been seen from miles around! Still working on some details such as the floor!

    Remember Pete keep it floored until a piston comes out the side and only then back weee little bit.
    Have a great time at the races wish i could have made it(it would be nice to see you cleaning up the sand when that T marks its spot) . But me and the red sox have to wait until next year.
