Art it is Northwest Deuce Days.

 

Leaving down under tomorrow for Vancouver and then flying on to Toronto where I turn around and drive back across the country to the west coast for this event. Should be a similar long drive. Drive safely.

We had a pow wow at Crizin Grand in Escon***** last night. 3 guys running in 3 different groups. All of us are just antsy to hit the road!!!

When you get here, cash in your 'murican dollars for Canuck pesos.
You should get at least 20 cents on your dollar.
There are three or four banks in walking distance of the Empress Hotel.

 

Well, if you are going to Victoria, it's LOTSA CASH!! Man that place is EXPENSIVE!

For us yes, for Americans who will get close to 30% on the dollar it's pretty cheap! Nope, I'm not jealous at all..not one bit!!!!

 

If you drive up and take the ferry from Annecortes rather than driving up and crossing at the border and taking the ferry from Vancouver here is the fare listing for the Annecortes/ Sidney BC ferry http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/far...date=20160714&departingterm=1&arrivingterm=19

The Anacortes ferry unloads right across from my favourite place to stay South Island, The Cedars.
deuceDreamer, good point about the dollar. I still bet some of theses guys will **** a brick when the bill for dinner comes.Compared to the mainland, Victoria is EXPENSIVE.

 

Already paid for the big dinner!!!

 

Take the ferry from Port Angeles and you will land right in the middle of Deuce Days.
