HAMBers, So, I'm thinking boats are ok so long as they are cool. The Chris Craft 22 foot Sedans that were produced between '47 and '54 are neat. Big automotive influences in the design. Note the column mounted shifter on the 25 footer. The white one below is my resto project and the green interior is an inspirational 25 footer. The purists complain about my plans to re-power and use words like 'over-'powered'. whazzup with that ? Anyway, really enjoying the project and its cool checking in on the H.A.M.B each day. Man that thing is cool! I love 'em as much as the four wheel variety. My fav is the one in Niagara Falls movie with Marilyn Munroe that gets trashed over the falls. I think that was an old Chris Craft as well.
That was a Steel Clipper that was in that movie.Made by Inland Seas of Sandusky Ohio. This 22' C.C. is one of my all time favorites.
