In every city in the South and probably in your state there is laws on the books to prevent people from coming into town and selling on the sidewalk without a permit.

I'm not saying it's right but that's just the way it is.

Call it what you want but all the police are doing is inforcing the law.HRP

And if they did not ... the whole strip would be a 4 mile long swap meet. I myself am tired of seeing the same bunch of folks move in on Tuesday and Wednesday with their junky old cars and parts for sale ... year after year.

I understand that every so often a rodder will want to sell his project or his vehicle ... but most of these guys are want to be dealers. They are just there to unload JUNK and they usually are in the best places to be seen.

At my Motel, theres a guy who comes from Georgia on Tuesday with a 3 or 4 cars ... parks them right out front and never moves any of them until they sell ( rarely ) or Sunday load up time comes around. Overpriced **** ... non HAMB friendly stuff. He does not go to the show ( might miss a ****er wanting to buy a junk ) ... does not support the event and brings his own supplies from HOME. He even leaves his beer cans and trash on the sidewalk for the town ( or someone else ) to clean up.

He is a worthless piece of **** ... IMHO.

I agree their was a day way back when that a guy just grew tired of his car an wanted to start a new project,an for a guy that didn't have the resources do build a car buying one complete was a good option. But this has really got out of control,I dont want to go to a flea market.Lets work on gettin the old days back cruise go to the shows an support the community.
