To all invloved, thanks! Was great to watch, if not all uplifting, seems to be a great reflection on the ups and downs of hanging with a crew. The honesty in it was refreshing.

Was also great to learn about the Purple People Eater. At the time I didnt understand it at all, now it makes sense.

Alright, just finished episode 4, very cool guys, Thanks for doing it.

  4. Hey folks!

I helped produced and shot everything for this doc, and I'm REALLY happy you guys have all liked it! It was a lot of work and man... it was worth it all.

We will have a full length feature done soon, so I'll make sure you all know about it when it drops!

All the videos were great and filled me in on some of the info I didn't know, missed seeing you guys for years. Seem like every show I went to you guys were there and we're an inspiration I guess as you guys were pretty dang cool. Went to the 20th anniversary and to the 30th and it was good times. I was just in Paso the other weekend with my girlfriend and went by the bowling alley that shut down and sat out front and looked around and remembered all the good times everybody had there, also walk by where the A&W used to be told her some stories about some good times. Best of luck to all you guys and if you guys should ever need anything let me know!

Just finished viewing #4, and my feelings are; all the shifters need is the shifters…. I think over the long haul , most of us have had events that have scarred or tested our metal. Value the buddies that are left , drink one to those who aren’t. Revel in those slices of the past, and find the fun in movin’ forward. I know I could find the fun hangn’ with these Kats!

  12. Do a search for "Bad Bob's Pic's-Shifters/Pomona". There's a bunch of pic's from that Shifters show, back in 2011. I tried to link it, but i'm no PUTER guy...

One more. Kneeling down is Kent from the A Bombers of Sweden, and also the Rockabilly band Jack Baymoore & The Bandits. VLV - before it jumped the shark......

  19. Yes sir! It'll be the same story, but more refined with more footage of Marky talking about the PPE, footage of the cars, and interviews with Big Sandy and Chico and Shig from Mooneyes!

  22. Watched them all and it's really good and is truthful on what was going on good and bad at that time when this whole traditional hot rod movement got going. Dan and Axle hope the photos help out with what you needed.

I'm also a filmmaker and DP, so I know how much you where putting into this - and hats off, it's very well done, and I really enjoyed every minute of it.

Especially since I experienced the German Hotrod/Rockabilly scene from the late 80s till today (yeah, still living it), going through similar changes and stages, so I can really relate to all that. It is really striking how similar things developed on our side of the big pond.

Appreciate the industry props, Frank! Always loved Smokin' Shutdown and the stuff coming out of Deutchland...

  30. It's funny I have been looking back at the late 1990s early 2000s hot rod revival and remember how much fun it was!
