Part four ties it all up nicely and points to a good future for the club and even the scene.
@Stoner/@Kojack, will the full length become available for purchase in some format?

Just seen all 4 today. Well done guys. Have always admired the Shifters cars. Will probably never be able to get a hot rod like their's, but watching these documentaries, one can only dream.

Thanks for telling the story of "The Shifters". I enjoyed the series immensely and think it's very well done. Can't wait for the "Directors Cut". I was growing up in that time frame but not into the scene so to say, but a car guy into music always. I wish I would have been into traditional type hot rods for decades now but happy I found my way to them. Better late than never.

Howdy Mikey, Been a while since I've had the opportunity to log on here. Anthony's bubble top is slowly coming along. I have been doing body work on it to get in sealer/primer. After that it will go to another member (more than likely Sinus at Sledge's Customs) for inner structural and dash fabrication. Radir Mags was gracious enough to sponsor us a full set of Radirs , which was what Anthony originally had on the car. I will be painting it green metalflake when this is ready. If memory serves me right, the bubble was made somewhere in Pomona , California. We will need to find out what company did it. If anyone out there knows, or has any idea's, please let us know. The Purple People Eater is getting a completely rebuilt Pontiac engine, is 90% reassembled , and should be getting lettered by Harpoon, soon. The rest of us are working on our individual projects. We can't thank everyone enough for the kind words and support on this film. All the best

Just found this thread, I have watched these videos at least a dozen times each, as a young guy from Missouri this just makes me appreciate and love the culture even more. Thank you for making this documentary.

    Hi guys,

We're all working on our individual projects, as well as working on Anthony's Bubble Top. I am building a Deuce 5 window that will resemble my old Deuce of the 1990s . This car will be much nicer, and a Hell of a lot faster. I've built a stroker 462 Pontiac monster motor that should Dyno around 535 Hp. It's going to have an extremely rare Man-A-Free 4x2 set up. 11:1 compression, eagle rods and stroker crank,.060 over, ported , polished, and flow bench tested high performance D port heads, 1.65 roller rockers, 510 lift cam, etc, etc.

My brother is currently building a Pontiac powered steel Deuce Roadster. '58 Pontiac engine, T10 4 gear, 9inch. He found 2 gallons of black lacquer paint at an estate sale - which sat on the shelves for 50 years. The car will be black, cream grill insert, maroon painted engine, 3x2, and a pair of vintage chrome lakes style headers that I bought from "wheeltramp brian" . Sinus is restoring/rebuilding his T Roadster, and it too will have a lot of changes to it. This was the first car on the road from our club. That now has a Franklin quick change, track steering, manual trans, and of course will be Caddy powered.

When we have time, we're still working on Anthony's Bubble. The bodywork is done, my brother and I installed front '40 brakes up front, and are currently redoing the rear suspension. The sponsored set of polished Radir Mags have been mounted on 560x15 white walls up front, and a set of Hurst slicks out back. Little by little. Cheers, Axle
