I was shocked to see it down in paint. Its been primed and blocked severals times again this week. They plan on knocking it down next week. The put on 5 coats of paint and 4 clear. Its the factory color PPG mixed with pearl instead of aluminum powder. I'm happy but time is limited as I have another car to prep for a national display in less than 2 months.
Looks like my late fall work is cut out for me. My plan is to get the glass in and doors on so it can go to the interior shop.

Well they actually were tag teaming it yesterday one small spot on the rear fender has some spot that they will take care of today. I expect the trunk to be back on the car by the time I get back from Macungie "Wheels of Time".

My plan is to work from the trunk forward in reassembly.

For those wondering how to use the EMS street rod pan on a stock car, note the bumper cutout holes. We trimmed the gravel shield slightly and will use the reproduced rubber trim/gasket that usually is gone. The slots will use 39-40 rubber trim. I think it looks a bit cleaner even if the work isn't visible.
