Ya know, guys and gals, they say there's a time and place for everything. Then, there's... "The Show". Maybe it's a band or event..... but if you're lucky, really lucky, you get to meet a man who's a show in itself. While doing research on my T Bucket build, I've been looking at all the different styles and the people who built them. I love researching.

Then, I rediscovered Tommy Ivo. While I had knowledge of his T Bcket, I didn't really know what else he had done. Now, I get it. The Show. Mr. Ivo was a "Show". I wish I could have seen it in person.

I did see Ivo's four engine go off at Fremont in the middle '60s. If you could say that as it was all smoke. Tom later told me it was probably Prudone driving it then as the studio had put a stop to his racing at that time.

I've got to admit I love the look of his T. It being a close copy of Grabowski's. He admits that he was over at Norm's house measuring the Lightnin Bug when Norm came home and caught him. Norm didn't seem to care as he probably thought the kid would never build one. One year later Grabowski couldn't believe how close a copy it was.

If you haven't read his biography you should invest in it. Great read. Great nice guy. Unless you are the butt of one of his practical jokes.
