Oh yah ,keep the name

 

How are you going to secure the new coil into the finned housing?

 

I machined a collar that holds the coil in with a set screw....I'm at work right now ,I'll post a pic tomorrow

 

How would you run air filters in there? Or are you worried bout that?

 

Here are a few shots of the collar and spacer I made to hold the coil.....

 

It's not the ponies that are gonna light that thing up, it's gonna be the TORQUE! Wicked looking motor guy!

 

While I'm at it , here's a few more progress shots .......

I made a steering column and drop and collar to hold it at the firewall






I also made my throttle linkage and a weeny little "meat tenderizer" pedal





And a couple with the body back on....it's starting to look like its name

 

Sweet. Tack on another good use for those Delco finned coils. Great Job man!

 

Thanks! ...I was going to epoxy it in but thought I could change the coil if I did it this way.
