History The "Skipper T"

ROFL! Awesome! Love your T Skip.

 

Those look SIMILAR to the "Cl***ic" style that's been around for a while. The chrome didn't last long, but I knew that going in. As far as structure, my first set lasted 3 years with no flange separation. The last 2 sets only lasted 6 months before they cracked at the flange. I think the quality has gotten bad and didn't get a 4th set.

I like the design and if you can find a set that's well made, they should last a while.

 

A true test is let's see you get in & out of it without using the door!! LOL!

Freakin Sweet T Skip

 

Got to admit, I never really been that much into T-buckets but seeing that one could convert anyone over to "T" other side!
Having doors must be a huge advantage with the top up too.

 

That car has such a great vibe it's levitating that dude right off the ground !

Like I said, the victoria is awesome but this car has my heart. It's incredible!

Your close,I love it too,but hate the dull paint,it was never used anywere as a finel finish around Miami in the 50s or 60s,so looks like shiny would make it do it super! to me. I like the rims.

 

I thought I had my favorite T's all arranged in order of favorites. Then I joined the HAMB and saw Mark's. Instant reshuffle putting Skip's at a tie with Grabowski's. I wouldn't change a thing except the name on the ***le.

Thats not a windshield, thats a chest protecter...

 

Mine is about that height and the top edge is even with the bridge of my nose. I also wear a ball cap while driving and it doesn't fly off. The wind seems to go over my head and curl back behind the car.

No fenders and a chopped windshield. Seems to go together.

 

The car does not need a thing. No debates/stack of old magazines/polls or yakety BS. It is literally a time machine. It should be a blueprint for a builder that follows the era to a (wait for it...) 'T'!

 

Wrong, the paint is fine, the car is perfect.

Favorite T EVER!!!

in one of my cameras, i have a bunch of photos of every detail on that car. Skip was kind enough to let me crawl all over and under it at at the LB MOtorama in 2010.

 

Those are real chrome reverse with baldy caps...not modern multi-lug chrome smoothies.

Not even close to the same thing.

The Skipper T is still a *****in car. I just have a pet peeve with modern wheels, dropped axles, etc.
