hope everyone is all right watching the weather channel and the president of one of the parishes in Louisiana said his back wall built with 2X6s and brick on the outside is bowing in and water is shooting through the electrical outlets like a water hose, he said it did the same thing in Katrina and they rebuilt the walls, there might be some really strong winds in that thing that haven't been measured, everyone if you can get on the net there please be safe

Up in the air for sure! A whole bunch of rebuilt homes in NOLA are building them on pilings, too.

Heavy rains are "training" over Nola right now. Some levees have broken and houses are flooded. Metarie is close to NO and gets the same.

    Good luck down there everyone!
They say we are going to get maybe 6" of rain or more this weekend. That's more than we've had all year! The ground is so hard,it will probably flood in some places.

    Hey Mickey,
Hope you made it through the storm with no problems. Don't know if you got my message I sent to you before the storm hit. If not, let me know. I do remember you!

  15. I had a a few limbs down. Nothing major. Every time I looked at the radar, we were in a dry spot between two swirling bands of heavy rain. My heart goes out to those who were less fortunate.
