did you ever make the patch panels for the bottom at wyotech before you went home?

  6. Hey Justin, nah I didnt have the time.

  7. I cleaned the garage a bit and moved some motors and stuff around so I could roll the car more foward. We've got some guys coming to pick up my old motors since I couldn't even GIVE them away on here. When the old stuffs out the new stuff will come in, new stuff as in my '56 Ford Y-Block for this thing.

  10. TINNNNY Update for you guys tonight. Things have been hectic lately (Always seems that way right?) Tonight I just welded up my hairpins, and put them in paint to keep them from suc***bing to this southern humidity. Theyll be mounted tomorrow. Ive been trying to get my motor home but catching old man Ramone at home is tricky! Hes always out on the town enjoying himself hahahah. Ima push it outside really soon for some far away shots and to get a really good look at the proportions of this thing. I think Santa might bring me some tires for my '40 wheels this Christmas. Stay tuned folks, its getting there slowly but surely.

Looking good. Evel had some very good advice, dude definitely has an eye for it. Looks like the body might want to come up in the rear just a tad, but it'll be easier to tell once the Y-Not-Block is in there.

  14. Definitely. Plus the body isnt even mounted yet. So when I get my motor/trans and everything in there I can mount the body according to how I really want it to look.

    Thanks!

Why Didn't you pull the 28-29 cowltop from the cowl? you coulda sold it instead of cutting out and filling the cap, coulda got like 80 bucks depending on condition Its the same top they use on 28-29 sedans and coupes.

  16. The cowltop? The murray cowls are one peice. Im not sure what youre asking haha or are you talking about the cowl band/dash rail area?

  17. Y-block for Christmas! Doesn't get any better. Great progress pics.

The tank inside the murray cowl is the same as a 28-29 ford coupe or sedan cowl top.

  19. It's mocking up and developing nicely. Amazing. Maybe I'll hang on to my '29 Murray 4-dr afterall.

that's wild how high that spring crosmember is.

  27. Called Thomas (poop) last night for some more feedback on how to mount my motor. I think Ive got a good plan of attack on how to mount my drivetrain. Might be scoring an Opel radiator soon. As soon as I get that in my grasps I can finally start laying out the "go" for this car. Im REALLY excited about this thing. Im just dying to push it out the garage and see it from afar let alone DRIVE it...good Lord...Im rambling. PROGRESS COMING!!!

    Nice build.

It will be outside in the sun before you know it.

What are the wheel and tires sizes?

  30. Thanks guys! The wheel/tire combo:

    16x4.5" wheels

5.50s up front, and 7.50s in the rear
