Not much to add, but thought I should at least update what little there is. Got my first load of chrome parts back from the plater this week. Unwrapped a couple pieces, they look great!
Cool. I've been using Custom Metal Finishing in Indiana for the last several years, but everything I've done has been small enough to ship easily enough. Nice to have another name for someplace closer when the time comes for bumpers and bigger stuff. I might give them a try with the next batch I send out.
Love to see the odd Fords get some attention. Keep that wife, she's gotta be devoted. Leadsled's forever
I really like what you are doing. Its going to be a great ride. Perhaps Ryan should change his quote to you.
holy sheeet- that is too funny! Thanks to you I just sprayed coffee out of my nose all over my desk- thanks a lot! lol
Well as you guys know, sometimes other things get in the way. Original goal was GNRS this year, when we realized it wasn't going to happen Jeff and I went in together on the Ranchero and redid it for the Roadster Show. (It was a running, driving car when we got it) We are now shooting for GNRS 2020! It will be tight but not impossible. Everyone is ready and chomping at the bit to get this one going. Sparks will be flying and further updates will be a lot more frequent. Thanks to those who follow along. The encouragement helps!
Well if the Rancho is sample of what to expect we're in for an incredibly wild ride...bring it on @Sancho
Great thread!! You know I love the 'spaceship in every garage' late '50s stuff, so I will be watching this one! Man, it's funny how things work sometimes. Just today, a guy on a Mopar fb page just put up pics of his '62 Dodge and it's almost exactly that color. If you're still leaning that way on color (and you should be) then maybe check out HOK Voodoo Violet.
Very kool, How are you going to show it off? Hood cut out with a plexi-glass peek-a-boo view through hood.
