They are really entertaining storytelling -- maybe not for someone who never paid attention to drag racing, but for a gearhead, they're fascinating.

Please let me add that Bill Pitts also does this You Tube thing called Rickys Dragster Garage. Rick usually is involved in the restoration of some front engine dragster or altered in his shop wrenching on this Hemi or that. Visiters to the shop while Rick is tinkering include some front engine dragster pilots and others from back in the glory days. There are about 80 episodes and more on the way! No reason for TV with this interesting stuff. Oh ya they usually light one off and cackle for your enjoyment1

Unfortunately it's probably gonna be a while. The producer is currently dealing with family health issues.

 

I would sure like to know more about Tom Jobe. He must have gone on to great things.

Bill Pitts Is really great at presenting this important drag history, and very dedicated . He also owns one of the finest FEDs , the Magicar! One of my favorite dragsters.
