Hot Rods The Tall Coupe - body on day

It's always an exciting day when the body goes on for the final time. Been a long time coming, too - Dad has owned this body for about twenty years. Have the sons over on a Sunday to help drop the body down with minimal scratches.

Known around here as the Tall Coupe (because the other one is chopped 5.5 inches), this project will hopefully be wrapped up over the winter and be cruising by spring.

This coupe will get a 409, with four Strombergs on top.

 

The "Short Coupe" does get an Ardun, but not that particular Ardun.

 

Great lookin' rod... a lot of love & detail is obvious and will show in the end!
