https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/vern-tardels-personal-1932-roadster.1330274/ It’s beyond my means, but has no one snatched this up yet?
Nifty car but it is one of those cars that the buyer will be the keeper of and never be seen as the owner of.. Roll off the ferry into Victoria BC in August and you will be known as the guy who has Vern Tardel's roadster far more than folks will remember your name. Then if you make the least bit of a change to it you catch flack from a bunch of haters. It needs to go to someone with deep enough pockets that they can add it to their 32 collection fully knowing that the history is as important as the car it's self.
Seems like a fair price, but I don't really want someone else's car, I want one ,even badly, made into my own. Hope it goes to a good home.
I’d love to own that car , great price for an original 32 roadster owned and built by a Traditional Icon with Boneville History
Fair $ , if 2,500 miles or so closer & Original Part on top of cowl & grill shell & would like to have top, I would , & Add fenders , boards, bumper , run both ways as I please , would not be first time add & remove
