Looking for more on the third roadster that ran around with Isky and John Athans back in the later 30s/early 40s. I know that Tom Leonardo owns it now and that TRK #8 has a story on it, but it doesn't say who built it. The article does mention the Narren Bros. Anyone know anymore about this time capsule?
looks like the same one on pg 9 of Dain Gingerelli's "ford hot rods" says it was owned by Racer Brown but not much else
I'm not finding much on Racer Brown. The 38 flathead has an Evans intake, Isky cam of course, Eddie Meyer heads, and the water offsets say Narren Bros on them.I am just surprised that the original builder wasn't listed with all the history given in the TRK article.
makes sense, Dangerous Dain and Tom are friend's. I'll ask Tommy about it this weekend, his shop is next door to mine.
