The "this is just wrong" thread

Is it glass or steel? I agree it looks like it started out as a drag car not a hot rod. If it’s put together right, I’d drive it. Change the front clip and you’re good to go.

 

The clip doesn’t bother me as much as the cheesy cheap lights do and rear spoiler.

 

I'm not sure if it was glass or steel, honestly I kind of avoided the car because I didn't want to have to listen to the speech of how nice it is.
It's just not my style of one of my favorite body styles.
I did see he has it listed for sale already for $37k

 

This is not my pic but I am absolutely positive I saw this car on the road in my area a couple of years ago. I had absolutely no idea what I saw when I saw it and, seeing this pic, I still have absolutely no idea what I am looking at This pic was taken in my general area so it has to be the one I saw before, there can't possibly be two could there?

Although it looks like a bad photoshop, I can assure you, it ain't

 

Too bad it's not Photoshopped...sad somebody really did that to that poor car..,and is the guy in the back of the car loosing his lunch after seeing the car?

 

Something about this car is very disturbing. And I don’t know why, but is probably one of the worst I’ve seen on this thread…

Yeah, well, I've kind of been "off the grid" and don't get out and about like I was.

 

Kinda reminds me of the Vibrasonic that Elden Titus was working on at the time of his passing.

 

Yes, its been going on a very long time. Guys like Barris and Watson and Roth and a load of others created a lot of very strange stuff, but they get a pass because they were on the cutting edge of history.

People have just grown tired of trying to fit their aspirations of automotive art into nice neat categories. Not really much different then what many of the old hot rod & custom heroes tried years ago. There are just more people playing now, and they have to push past the limits the old Hero's established, if they want to be different.

The gate was opened back in the 50s, and people are still trying to walk through it. Embrace the Kustoms is what I was told back then. its your turn now!
