Cool MM tidbit; the bikes were mostly KZ1000's (I owned one in another life, fast bike). They bought like 13 of them and gave them to a local bike club to weld spikes and shields to and later paid the same club to ride them in the movie. I hear most of their stunts, wipeouts and near crashes were all impromptu. Go team green!

Is there such a thing as suicidal herd thinning?

  5. What do you think, just to play it safe maybe a little more ground clearance :rolleyes: on this 1925 Dodge Brothers.
I won't mention the other obvious out back :D. Also a unmolested  example for comparison. 1925-dodge-brothers-series-116-tourer.jpg 1925_Dodge_touring_.jpg

The top picture of the 1925 Dodge looks to be about the right ride height to me, no need to be concerned about what imperfections you might find on the road (or off the road :D), but what happened to the front leaf springs?
The bottom picture would have about the same ride height, if you removed the fenders and running boards.
Most people forget that back then, paved roads were pretty rare, most "roads" were little more then dirt paths through the fields.

Almost bought one back in the day when the Canadian military disposed of them. Placing a massaged over pickup topper on one takes it to a whole other level. Haha!
