And are those plastic tees in the fuel lines?

Not @Beanscoot, but the AI clues that I see are:
Edelbrock label on lower carb appears to read Edelbard
Iskendarian cast into tunnel ram appears to be misspelled
Two bolts in top of manifold as if it had interchangeable tops, but manifold is a single casting (and did Isky make an interchangeable top tunnel ram manifold?)

 

The whole top orange box is just a fake air cleaner with carbs on top so when the hood is closed it looks like a dual setup on a hi-rise manifold sitting out above the hood. Top carbs would most likely have the guts removed. The fuel line is a fake from the bottom T up, so the top plastic T doesn't ever get any fuel. The whole shebang only runs off the bottom carb.

 

Nothing to do with the AI discussion, but why would the "fake" carbs be connected to fuel. Pre-carburetors lol?

You really think someone would go through the trouble to internally block the rubber fuel line to the upper carbs?

 

My guess would be that the fuel to the top carbs is blocked at the bottom T.
The bottom T appears to also be plastic, but fuel line connectors can be either metal or plastic (more correctly, nylon).

 

Not sure somebody would go through the trouble of making a fake fuel line connection when anybody that can see the connection can also see that the whole thing is fake. I tend to agree with the AI opinion but we can agree to disagree.

 

Aluminum checker plate for “ custom car mods” drives me nuts , says you’ve given up , don’t care , taking the lazy route .
The kinda guy that goes to take a dump , sees there no toilet paper and proceeds to turn his guts inside out 100 miles from home with no hope in redemption because you have simply given up on life .

Just looking back through this thread should show you what sort of things people will go to the trouble of doing.
It obviously made perfect sense to the guy who did it. Scary, huh!

AI or drugs or drugs and AI I don’t know but it’s f’k up… one man’s dream is another’s nightmare.

 

There are no hose clamps on the fuel lines except to the bottom carb...making me think there is no fuel going to the top carbs. The orange box is just an air cleaner.

 

There's a lot more in that pic that says "I've given up" than just that diamond plate.

 

Just think, the time and energy needed to do all that could have been better appreciated if he had just grabbed a beer and a comfortable chair and watched the gr*** grow!

 

I think it would have been more believable if he had just screwed the two carbs to the top of the hood!!!

 

Obviously, you guys do not understand a performance engine. The top two carburetors push something into the box that is there to receive the stuff. There the stuff is transferred to the bottom carburetor which turns the received product into material that is forced into the manifold. Of course, this will not work without the breather on the valve cover. C'mon guys!

 

I can dig this, you want to smile on a Saturday morning grab a coffee and a bench next to a boat ramp and just relax.

I watched an older couple with probably six young grandkids back there brand new aluminum Lund fishing boat down the ramp with him and all those little kids in the boat, well their old boat must have sat on a bunk trailer because they were all surprised when that shiny new boat rolled off the trailer and smacked the concrete. It was all I could do not to laugh I actually covered my mouth and hoped in the truck and pulled away before laughing, it’s something that I will never forget or see again. Nobody was hurt but I could have yelled “Surprise” and it would have been fitting. Well there are a few people who will have a good laugh about that day after they grew up after fishing with grandpa. lol

 

When my wife and I are bored, we will go for a 40 mile ride to the state park along the river that has a boat launch. We set up our car show chairs in the shade along the river, and watch the boats and water skiers run up and down the river, but the best entertainment is usually at the nearby the boat launch. There always seems to be at least one party that is exempt from the knowledge of loading or unloading a boat. Of course that requires an ice cream stop on the way back home. Its always good for an afternoon escape, especially on Sunday afternoons.

 

Probably has the Tornado-vornado supercharged turbo in that orange box ... for that extra milage
