If I didn't know better I'd think that Gene-Koning and I are married to long lost twin sisters. Jean starts playing Christmas music in her Girl cave sometime in November before my birthday and leaves the tree up until she finally gets tired of looking at it. Keeps her happy and so be it.
I did go out and use part of a gift certificate on a new flannel shirt yesterday. A work outside one rather than a put it on and go somewhere one. The stores were amazingly not very crowded. I guess the after Christmas bargains haven't popped up yet.

 

My favorite picture taken Christmas day during my senior trip in 1967. Lots of Christmas spirit here. The next year Bob Hope brought Ann Margaret. It was a pretty good Christmas, too.

 

Then my guess is you didn't give enough time for foreplay to enjoy it. It happens to a lot of guys.

I'm with BamaMav, a bah humbug! At 77, third Xmas living alone, wife in nursing home. Fell in October, broke my hip, couldn't put new radiator in the '40, now will be too damn cold in January when sawbones says my replacement hip is okay to bend more than 90 degrees. Wasn't going to decorate but kids/grandkids staged a intervention and put up a fake tree. I told them they better show up after New Years and take it down. You bet, hotrodjack33, "gonna be a long winter" until it is warm enough to get youngest grandson over here to do creeper work installing the new radiator. Whoever said these are the golden years ****s eggs.
