    I got it!
build another one just like it. Hell, you already did the "R&D" work on this one, you should be able to pull it off cheaper, right?...granted, of course you gotta find another 3 window body to start with. but the chrome guys will be happy to see you again!

then, once it's dona, Bruce wil be so pissed he will be forced to sell the original at a fraction of the cost...to me.

See! win-win situation! Get to work!

All these replies and I am amazed that no one has brought this up. Most of us have seen Bruce Meyer and some of his collections on different programs. On every interview, he goes into who built it and some of the history. Larry is now history. Years from now his car and name will be mentioned in the same breath with the likes of Doan Spencer and others great builders.
    DAMN, that's pretty heavy for a Friday evening.......congrats......can I get your autograph?:D

I wonder if Bruce Meyer would have purchased Larry's car it did not have an original body but a Brookville instead?

Well now! Seeing how you sold your car and your an outstanding member of the RamRods Hamb dragster club the rest of the members were thinking we should move up to AA/Fuel.
Shouldn't take us long to build it.:D:D

No matter how large the bank account is now - it would be hard to top that car on the next build.

    Well done.

Bruce is a great guy and avid Hot Rodder. He made possible the hot rod wing at the Peterson.
I periodically send him links to here.
That was really a nice car.I was blown away by it when I saw it at the HAMB drags.
    Good show!

Something everyone forgot is that Breeder sat in this car at the HAMB Drags last year. It probably was worth more before that. :)

Larry that had to be one of my all time favorite 32 three windows. It is a very beautiful car and it was yours. That is what is cool. You were also a great guy to talk to. Sounds like it went to a kool place too.

Bruce will drive the wheels off that Deuce, He truly is a great guy, I have known him for a number of years, he doesn't like to let his cars sit and collect dust, He actually drove the Person brothers coupe to his office in Beverley Hills even though it isn't even close to street legal,... and after it won Pebble Beach he drove the Doane Spencer Roadster through the snow,.... Larry your car couldn't be in better hands !

Hey Pickle,... did you have anything to do with this ? :D

  20. Didn't you start the deuce club here? Does this mean your membership is revoked? Man, I'll nominate you and that car for lifetime, shoot make that membership for eternity. Can't wait to see the next project.

  21. That is one of THE baddest '32 Ford coupes of all time... and you'll have that under your belt long after it leaves your garage.

Now on to the next car... will it be another '32 3 window? Or are ya gonna change your name to RoadsterLarry, G***erLarry, KustomLarry... maybe buy a Model A coupe and do it on the cheap? 5WLarry?

it is way bad ***,,,but the thing(in my opinion, which like most people here have...) that didnt make it THEE BADDEST,,was the lack of frame horns....i respect Rolling Bones...but the car would be way cooler with some frame horns sticking out past the grille.....

Hey guys...I just sent Bruce a link to this thread, and told him you all were talking about him... here's what he wrote back...

Hi Larry. I'm simply blown away by this website. This could ONLY happen with HOTRODDERS!!! They/We are only in it for pure p***ion and it sure comes out with these wonderful comments. You must take great pride in knowing how much YOUR car was loved... and I might add, will continue to be loved...and driven:). I'm still simply blown away by this serendipitous coming together. I've tried for weeks to find you and now this...just unbelievable!!! Lets keep in touch and thanks for sharing this with me...

    All the best,
    Bruce

    Good news, Bad news.....

Bad News.....the HAMB deuce club met behind closed doors....... you're out!

Good News, if you bought a Nash Metropolitan and Larryized it, you could still be 3WLarry.

Congrats on the sale..... like others have said, it couldn't have gone to a better guy. Don't know Bruce but what I seen/read says he's real people.

A long time coming Larry. You always had the vision and p***ion, now you put one in "the big time". Stay focused and knock another one out of the park.

Hey, and get that Beverly Hills "poser" to join the HAMB where the real rodders live :- )

Actually, Bruce's work is something I think all true traditional and historical Hot Rodders are in awe of,... Bruce is/was a visionary that seen merit in collecting, restoring & preserving Hot Rod history in it's truest form,... the significant cars them self's,

Bruce will be the first to admit that he didn't build or restore these cars himself, but I personally feel like I owe him a debt of gra***ude for bringing attention to the significant Hot Rods that have played a part in American history,..... I first met him during the time when he acquired the Frank Mack roadster,.....

He is a very gracious man, a true Hot Rodder and someone I admire greatly,... He has am***ed and restored a collection of truly historically significant Hot Rods, and he doesn't tuck them away out of sight like some would do,... He shares them with all Hot Rodders to enjoy,... and he drives them like they were originally built to do,........ I don't like to challenge anyone on there views,.. BUT I would never question where Bruce Meyer stands in the world of Hot Rods
    He IS one of us.

  30. Bruce Meyer....awesome guy...he'll drive it, I saw him in the Pierson Bros car down the street the 1st time I visited the Petersen...I was dumbfounded...I had literally just finished reading the story about the cars restoration, and then I see it...being driven down Wilshire Blvd!

Couldn't have gone to a better guy.

    Congrats Larry
