  1. just when ya think that everyone (seems like everyone )thinks any old car is worth big money .. someone starts taking pieces off a complete 80 year old car and scrappin em .. rather than sell the car .. even if it was just above the scrap price good save!

    I am waiting for the related story of how someone scored a model A grill and hood at the recycler ..

    thanks for the complete story

    No, it was not a paved road. It looks like it in the picture but it was basically a long driveway (1/4 mile long?) that they had put some crushed stone on. It was probably not noticed too often because of the private nature of the driveway.

    I will say this though; it was about three miles from the Latimore Valley Fairgrounds. I told the family about the big Jalopy Showdown show that they hold there but they had never heard of it. Crazy stuff.

    I hosed it off yesterday and had to get the right front brake assembly un-siezed so I could get it off of the trailer. The 4 cylinder is now leaking oil on my yard. I am going to try and get it running this spring.
