Matt, I am also building a Model "A". I'm not a fabricator, but I sure can appreciate the work you are geyying done on your "A". Keep at it you are going to have one mean Hot Rod !

    i got a few updates:

I ordered a tank from tanks inc. and got it mounted up.

I also got a seat from a 1997 dodge minivan mocked up

i ordered a 28'' column from lime works along with a 15" wheel. I made my own column drop...

I started with 1/8 x 1" flat stock and bent it in the shape i wanted. Then cut a flat piece to fill the top.

    here is the clamping part...

It will be jam nutted on both sides...

Dude, so far 100% cool. But please do something with that seat. Tell me you have plans to make it not look soccer mommish.

coming along great, i'd opt for no headrests. that seat cover looks great, and would look perfect in the coupe. thanks for the inspiration this build has given me!

we made some patches for the wheel well. We put the bead in in with a hydraulic press and some water pipe. They came out pretty good for the first time.

Tindall, that rear lower panel below the deck lid, that's a Brookville piece? I just bought one from Mac's and I'm hoping mine fits as well as that one.

You want to move those arms to the frame. That tube doesn't have the strength for even a mild engine. You are going to pull it out and pole vault into space at Mach 3...

I must be lucky . Looks like I got the same setup in my 5W . 5000 miles with a built solid lifter 327 , somewhat hard driving and no pole vault into space yet ?.........Z.
