As long as were talking about famously outrageous NJ cars and guys, lets add the Jersey Torch to the list. I don't have any to start with, but I hope some of you do. This was one of the first cars I heard about from NJ growing up.

Dont fuckin do this to me!I have pics of the Bruce Springsteen video 53,the green flame job he did on that former gorgeus 51 chopped Chevy fast back, the 57 Ford he got from Riporti, the chopped 55 when it was nics and lastly ,the chopped 57 4 door Chevy that they choped and put one of his stellar flame jobs on.Jimmy was introduces to customs by Carloni and I truly think that his 53 and his 55 should be considered Fonz built!

I know his one car, having seen it numerous times... but for some dumb-ass reason, the only pic I can lay my hands on is from the newspaper. Sorry this is so crappy:

If I recall correctly, I saw that Merc at the Hot Rod Hoe Down in DE a couple years ago. It still has the flames and flame throwers

I'm pretty sure it was in Macungie about 3-4 yrs ago too.

I met a guy in Carlisle about 2 years ago that was part of the huge flamethrowers. He was showing me pictures from a scrapbook that he had of a bunch of torch cars and some I hadn't seen. Apparently he was almost enemies with Wild Bill becasue they had a disagreement about getting paid to shoot huge fire. Billy Monroe's chopped '54 Merc used to have huge flamthrowers as wel two owners before him. I'm not sure who built it though.

Greetings from Long Branch,NJ,Americas first seashore resort and 7 time U.S.summer capital....glad to report that Jimmy is alive and well driving race cars at Wall Speedway along with his sons and relatives the Lanes and Rigglemans and just might have another custom in mind....after Fonzie passed away, Jimmy feeling down came to our Cruise to the Jersey Shore car show at the Long Branch boardwalk and auctioned off his own flamed and striped black leather jacket for charity....Vinny from the Fossils club chimed in with the highest bid and immediatly gave the jacket back to the Torch saying ''altho the Fonz is gone we wont let you go buddy.''
Yeah he's my buddy JIMMY THE JERSEY TORCH....JOE ''THE FONZ'' CARLONI....MAY YOU GUYS LIVE FOREVER.

Man lookin at that pic in the paper, that freakin car can shoot! Damn! I bought the flamethrowers DVD just to check out Fonze and Torch. SO freaking worth it. Remember in my living room wasted as hell after poker watching that? I had to beg Christina to give us like 15 minutes cuz we had to watch it. I thikn she was making dinner in the meantime. I suck. :)
