Thanks to Chris and Elrod for the inspiration and to Lowbuckboz for fabbing the brake actuator brackets and helping to bend the steering arms.

Just when you thought you couldn't give a Model A a different "look". Well done.

beautiful car. I prefer the smoother body - cowl joining of the 30 - 31 but I love the way the 28 - 29 front fenders caress the tires...

Right on. Lots of similarity. Looks like we're going to start a trend!

You using Flathead Ted's brake floaters? Is that what's going on with the top adjustment bolt? Been thinking about adding those to my cabriolet.

Thanks for the compliments. This site has been a huge inspiration.

Here's the lowdown on the build:

Front: 4" drop axle from Okie Joe Axles
    Reversed eye main leaf

Rear: "T" spring with 3 and 5 leafs removed.
I used an ol spring an i believe it is just plain worn out.
It is way too soft. I am going to add a leaf back in but
may end up replacing with a new spring. I also plan on
adding some shocks to smooth things out.

    Brakes: Machanicals all around
    Flat Head Ted Floaters
Front actuator shaft brackets to get everything lined back up
New cast Drums and pads all around
Every part of the brakes was cleaned, rebuilt or replaced

Tires: Front; 5.50-16 on 4.5" wide
    Rear; 7.50-16 on 4.5" wide

I had planned on documenting the build but my hard drive crashed and i lost all of my build photos. Here's a couple i have from when i first got it.

USing 32-34 spring perches to get the height was a great idea.

Ah yes, the elusive 32 perch pins. Rarer than hens teeth and priced to match.
Thanks to DoctorZ at So-Cal Sacremento for hooking me up with this set. They are unbelievably perfect, appear to have been never used. Oh well, you gotta pay to play.

Every 32-34 Car and Pickup has a pair of these in the front axle, and they were available in the aftermarket for many many years as well.
Most have the "tree" cut off at the shackle boss if they were on a car converted to airplane shocks and hydraulic brakes, just the upper limb if converted to hydraulics but running stock Houdaille lever-arm shocks.
