I have lost track of all my cars and cars I've built for people, but I do remember a 39 Willys coupe my friend built from a sedan with a coupe back half. I was with them when we went to PA to pick it up around 1964. "Willie the welder" was driving it around NYC and LI, it got sold and wound up way out on LI. It was black and real nice. Next I know it's red and with fender skirts, I saw it at the Rhinebeck GG. Could this be that car? I don't know. Still looking for my 36 Willys 4dr.sed. it was last red. And my cousins 34 Ford 5w coupe.

I sure recognize that one! First Willys I saw in person, (about age 14) World of wheels, Dubuque, Iowa around 1980! I was smitten by the one in the movie, Hot Rod.
