    Cool!
Those are my favorites as well.

I got Number 5, 6, 7, and 8 of Al Cosentino's AOI Abarth series books, and a year sub to the Rodders Journal.

My office burned a little over a month ago(I'm a Dentist) Insurance will make things right in the end but no money coming in and bills continueing has created a few holiday bummer moments;I sold some Indian parts a old GTO that was for someday, kids and wife covered, bills paid, grocreys in the pantry.
    I'm thankful
I awoke to find my 2 teenage sons,9 year old daughter and wife mocked up my 29 roadster in our living room, kids built a cardboard Hemi, bean bag seats, zip ties and duct tape, wrapping paper tube exhaust
We all piled in and drove and talked about whats really important,we didnt leave the living room but it the best drive I've had in years
This was the best Christmas ever!

  18. A buddy at work got me a Hot Wheels of Rich Guascos "Pure Hell" AA/Fuel Altered.
Theres a story behind this that he doesn't even know about.
My dad p***ed away in 1994,& his wishes were for his ashes to be spread out on the Bonneville Salt Flats(which I did in '96,,hold that thought)
My old man was the first guy to go 180 MPH at Bakersfield in 1959,& spanked Garlits in the semis. They went on to become very close friends.
I contacted Rich Guasco in early '95 & I asked if he'd take my dad on one last ride down the Fomosa Dragstrip(they were friends).
Anyway,at the March Meet in 1995,we packed some of my dads ashes in the pilot chute of the Pure Hell car.
Larry Huff was driving the car at the time.
He ran a mid to low 6 second p*** at well over 200 MPH.(I got it on video, but dont remember the exact numbers)
He pulled the chute & ****,,,last p*** at Bakersfield.Oh & we broke the oil pump drive in the lights & lost oil pressure,,didnt hurt anything.

Fast forward to Bonneville Speed Week,,1996.
I met up with my dads close friend Al Teague out on the Salt.
One of the crew guys & myself put ALL my dads ashes in Teagues parachute.
356 MPH later,my dad got the fastest ride of his life,& his wish to be spread out on the Salt was granted,,,,in a big way.
Ive got it on video, with Springsteens "Promised Land" playing in the background.
Right now I feel happy & sad at the same time.
    Merrry Christmas Everyone,,,

The usual sweatshirts, t-shirts, and a cool leather coat...that unfortunately I will have to return, the sleeves are too short. The best thing is getting to see the looks on my neices faces, because I have a tendancy to go overboard on gift giving for them. I also bought some cool stuff for my dad for his new coupe.

I got everything I wanted for Christmas this year, and I was able to give my dad, wife, and daughter a wonderful memorable holiday. We had good food, and wonderful conversation. Just what St. Nick ordered!

    Merry Christmas everyone!
