Funny how things change over time. Back in 2003 we took a trip to Germany and I saw a VW Bug towing a camping trailer on the Autobahn.
I am really wanting a 57-60 Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, or Desoto wagon for the family hauler tow rig.

I wish my '61 was a bigger car for towing. The little Lancer prolly wouldn't do too well with anything bigger than a tear drop.

 

Well for some reason I'm drawn to it. All it needs is the big Caddy 472 that's waiting in my garage and some airbags.

 

You are correct. I was going to pull the little flathead six and was thinking about an amc 360 sleeper.

So far it looks like I'll make it. My son, Hudson, and I should be cruising down in the Hudson on the Thursday after work so that we can participate in the reliability run on Friday morning.

I saw that coming back from guard drill this weekend and my mouth was watering. You can put a Hodges bed on that long enough to haul two cars and tow one. Is it diesel?

Not necessarily. Breather kind of says diesel. I'm heading down that way in a couple weeks. I'm going to take a look at it if it's still there.
