    Hey!
Watch it with the Falcon talk! [IMG]

I just checked in. We had company all weekend and I just now got back in here to check things out.

Thanks for asking about the truck. I've been messin around with radiator problems. I put a new one in from Summit racing, and while it works great, I think I may have another problem.....The temp guage just keeps climbing. I think I may have a problem in the block itself...(shit!)

I recently painted some signage on the sides of it....but the dang paint doesn't make it go! I just wanna drive the darned thing! [IMG] Maybe by next weekend...eh?

Here is the newest pic of it....
I didn't take any pics this weekend. Although they woulda been good. The Brooding Swede and his wife came down to visit. I let him drive the truck around my lot here and the first thing he did was RAM into some junk I have laying out by my big ol' driveway oak tree. Sheesh. [IMG]
It was a fun weekend though. Wish I coulda remembered to take some pics!

Anyhow here is a pic I took a week or so ago....

VT - that is coming along pretty nice - I am really liking the flatbed and the red exhaust pipe with the chrome tip sets it all off.

Could your cooling be stuck thermostat? Is the water pump circulating?

what type of radiator did you get?i got one of the griffin alum.ones and i overheat sitting or going under 35.the problem isthe tubes are big and the fins are spaced too far apart .it works great at speed i stayed around 190.i put a shroud on it ran alittle cooler.put the old copper/brass rad back in ,no more problem.

    Skull63...

DAMN IT! where were you a few weeks ago? [IMG] [IMG]
Yeah. I got the aluminum type just like the Griffin. Its a Summit Racing radiator. The add said it cools better than a 4 row radiator....Guess thats only at highway speeds! Damn it.

Do you think if I got one of those electric fans and hooked it up as a pusher that it would help?

I think this damn truck's top speed is gonna be about 35 miles an hour.

    Hey Ratster,
I may hafta take you up on that free fan.
    I'll let ya know.

About the "hot rod shop".....I figured if I painted that on the door, then It might give the truck a little confidence. You know, boost its moral and make it feel better....make it feel a little more like hauling my**** down the road.

Damn truck. I think it just doesn't care. I work my fingers to the bone....and what thanks do I get? [IMG]
