I picked this dash up at a swap meet and have since cut it down to fit in my '31. I need a glove box but not to sure where to start.

Hey, the dash itself is from a 46 to 48 Ford. So a glovebox door from one of those should fit it. Have no idea what the wood is from unless it is the special edition wide glide outhouse seat!!

Awesome. Thanks guys. Kinda funny my 47 had a flat sheet of steel for a dash, sold the car now I have the dash haha. The wood thing is the dash that was in the coupe.

The holes are mostly filled and 3 inches have been taken outta the middle so it fits in the model A.

Also wanted to point out there are some fairly large bezels which cover the gauge holes on the left, which are for the amp, water temp, oil press., and fuel in the small ones, and speedo in the larger left one. The large hole on the right is for a clock. The large hole in the upper middle is for a speaker and there was a grill that covered that and sort of matched up with the other two bezels. If you are going to narrow that for your 31 you might want to put the trim on it before cutting anything. I think 49 dashes in 30/31 A's are easier to do than one of these and look better imho.
