Yup, i've met some really good people off the HAMB and have made a lot of really close friends too. You gotta watch out for the damn jotos though... Rey Scotty Raul Scott Mike Joe They like to hug a little too much...
Im new here also I love this site. Have not met any members yet. Im impressed at all the people that are willing to help one another. I first found out about the hamb after an article on hambyandy. You are all first cl***. Thanks ryan.
Well said Jeff!! I havnt met a hole lot of HAMBers but I have met a few ( IAN!! haha) and I have to say. If there is one place I go to look for anything I need to knoww. Its here! thanks for the supprt on the build thread to guys!
this place is hands down the place for some of the best people involed in the world of hot rodding, from builders to artist, pros to weekend shade tree mechanics, I've used alot of info off here while building my 32 tudor, which will soon make it's debut with photos right here on the H.A.M.B.
love this place, its actually a part of life now. If I know the guy/gal coming at me in oncoming traffic is a HAMBer, I give them the Harley "low wave"
i will say that its sure interesting to read many different views on whatever and the moderators keeping the politics/religion issues to a minimum. keeping it pre 64' and about iron is a tough job. also thanks for letting myself and other tell somebody to "go **** themselves" on ocasion!
Great post Finkd,I have been here for a few years and have met and made lots of new freinds. I also have a Hambers car here that I need to do some work on also. I spend many hours on here. I have learned lots and and still learning from this place daily. There is not a day that goes by where I dont spend a couple hours here on the Hamb to get my daily fix. Viva La Hamb.
Well put Jeff. You should write Hallmark cards or something? In the short time I have been here everyone has been open and friendly. I am glad to be a HAMB'er and as soon as I can steal ... I mean borrow $50 from the wife's purse when she is not looking I will join the Alliance. shhhhh she is in the other room.
Yes this place is the best, especially for us old and retired. Traditional is back in style, finally! HemiDeuce.
Viva la h.a.m.b.!!! Indeed no place I would rather be !! Besides the garage even though my project is very off topic there's no better place for ideas and info and down to earth good folks.
I have been here a while, received the answers to every questionI have asked and read countless threads on every topic, no where else is there a place like this. You said it better than I ever could!
This forum is the best Traditional car site on the Internet and by far the best car site over all. It's so cool to have a place to go without having to look at big *** wheels that look like coffee tables, ugly graphics, Billet everything, very refreshing. Traditional is back and here to stay! I have made a lot good friends here in the USA and abroad all because of the HAMB. I love it. CRUISER
OMG!! Jeff, i cant believe i missed this today!!! I understand how you feel homie! Without this GREAT forum, things wouldnt be the way they are today!! The HAMB changed things greatly for me.... BIG TIME!! I'm gonna go as far as to say it changed my life! I met an amazing friend in Jeff, a friend for life!! Tom, what an amazing gifted, honest, humble man !! So many people have made an impact and they probably don't even know!! Thank you Ryan for all the hard work!!! I love this Family!!!! Much love peoples!!
Yes!!! You said it, Jeff! There's nothin' better than sharing...nothin'. Lots of people live their whole lives without experiencing the comradery that we share here. I felt pretty alone in my p***ion for the old-style hot rods 'til I found this place and you guys. I've made some friends here, and it means a lot. Ian, Lono, Hudsonator, hrm2k, 65 impala, beep, and others...all good people. I envy you Jeff, for having had the experience of actually meeting some of the good folks here. In fact, my good wife, Sandy and I live in a big farm-house, on a 120 acre farm in the middle of the thumb of Michigan...there's lots of room out here...my drive-way is 1/2 mile long!...and I look forward to accommodating a bunch of you sometime, and you can all freak Sandy out! (She doesn't freak easily, though!) Maybe if a bunch of you are up this way sometime, you can let me know, and we'd be happy and honored to have you! Anyway...thankyou Ryan, and thankyou everybody...for everything. -Rick <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o> </o>
That's kool, but I got dibs on being the weird cousin. And this place does feel like home. Any other car site, just dont have the feel man. 1shot
Clap, clap, bravo. The HAMB is an awesome place, its given me so much knowledge. It has also been a good place to do some business. Probably wouldn't have sold (and bought) a lot of my stuff if it hadn't been for the HAMB. Viva la HAMB.
