The attorneys at Bob Laab Law are calculating the results for us, and they don't work on weekends. The Yay-Hoos will announce the winner early next week.
The Yay-Hoos are en-route back to Austin. We will have a write up soon. BUT, Jeff did run 10.98 @ 123.49. Everyone drive safe.
Looks like he certainly earned it with a 10 second pass in a car he drove to the track and back home .Congrats to him ...
That 10 second pass was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is smokin for a race car much less a street driven hot rod!!!!!! Congrats A Bone
Check this out- This is what a 10 second car looks like from a 14 second car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_oXcRoz1t8
Yeah, I think so because the 10.98 run was in the right lane and it was after the dipstick catastrophe...so that black sedan would have disappeared from the camera even faster!
Oh sure, make it even worse! I always seem to post video of getting beat, but it makes better video when you actually see the other guys car. Last time it was by Kerry. Rodshop
A 14 second street car is still a pretty fast car. I get a charge listening to guys who've never had their hotrod on a dragstrip say they have a 11 second car... I once had a big fat 79 Ford F-100 with a camaro stub and a cammed 400 Pontiac/350 turbo...I was sure it was a low 15-high 14 second car with no dragstrip tuning at all..never had it on a race track...Until I towed my brother's hotrod Morris to our local 1/4 mile..I ran my "tow truck" for grins. When I couldn't do under 16.28 I was red-faced..put bigger tires on the back and went 16. 70s..
Yeah man! You were hauling the fucking MAIL! Like I said before.......HEROIC SHIT! You make that shit look so easy, I'll be surprised if more folks don't come gunning for you. GOD HELP em if they do HAHA!
