Congrats Racer X!! Although I have never had the privilege of meeting you I would like to commend you on being a real cl*** act! You obviously care more about the tradition of Hot Rodding than winning and would rather step aside than dominate an event that would lead to its down fall. Yep it is a yearly deal, if you run quicker than everyone else in whatever year it is you win.
Just a quick heads up the official time for your day is your quickest p***, that will never go away but we are going to require that you make the money run next year. I.E. the normal final cl*** p***. Also next year we would like everyone who runs to gather for a group photo.

I am building a book for the cup so that anyone can go back and see who they ran with and what they ran in any given year. We want this to be history that anyone can go back and see. so that when we are dead and gone someone will say these guys had fun and we can prove it.
