Fat fingered this the first time, sorry. This is intended for the Pac. Northwest bunch. This 34 I'm working belonged to Jerry Berg, shown as The [U"]Northern Star"[/U] then bought by Ben Sebastian and rebuilt as "Plum Crazy". As Plum.C it had quad headlights. As The Northern Star it was in the magazines of the time. Time period was Late fifties early for N.S., and mid 60' to mid 70's as P. C. Anyone on this board been around long enough to recall it as it was in those days?
I don't see it! I wanna see it, but I can't! Why can't I see it! Is my monitor broken! WTF! Why can't I SEE IT!?
Gwad you guys are a brutal bunch. 49ratfink, Google up "Jerry Bergs 1934 Ford" that brings up the complete history on the car back to about 1955 when he first bought it and street rodded it. So Oaky the rest here, ask no quarter, receive none.
I wasn't born in 55 but am aware of the car. Ben was the Seattle Autorama promoter during the 70's and 80's and is a good friend of mine. If I remember correctly , he sold it to a friend of his by the name of Tom Roberts and he removed the wild quad front end off of it and redid the car. PM me your name and phone number and I will pass it on to Ben and have him call you. Also, when he was promoting the car shows he would try and do up a ' feature car" to use in the ads and t-shirts at the time. He still owns the 27 T sedan and chopped '50 Merc that he used to promote the shows and I have his old '72 Pantera that he used. I have a bunch of left over iron on artwork from several years and your car may have been on some of it.
Never saw the car in person but did see it in magazines - what a great car. Would be nice to hear more about how you got the car, and more pics is always appreciated!
