Thanks for a great time. The Trike of Doom is alive and well, the new dirt track at the Rashy Ranch is a great track, Im sure the neighbors want to build their own so they can play too. It was good to see the OK crowd out in force having a good time. The party was fun, the Bands rocked, the BBQ was top notch. I had two bowls of Chile and a pulled pork sandwich. Someone else will have to explain the John Holmes sausage platter. I even got to drive Mama Rashs 59 Biscayne, that was a treat. Thanks to Rashy for the warm bed and hospitality. Stopped by the HAG shop on the way out of town Sunday and peeked at a bunch of cool projects while MarkX got a quote on some new pearl white upholstery. Those THEM boys in OK are way more organized than us Texans, so instead of becoming organized ourselves we will continue to go up there and support them. Thanks again for a great time. TZ
Wish I coulda made it. Anybody have pictures to post... at least ones appropriate for the HAMB??? flt-blk, is yer truck getting any closer to bein' back on the road?

[/ QUOTE ] There should be some acceptable pictures, I hear Elvis was riding the Trike-O-Doom I get the block and crank back this week, I should have it at the Chupacabra Christmas party.
I had a blast, and I apologize to everyone who received a "big manly hug" Did I miss any fire/minibike riding in the parking lot after I p***ed out in the Camry?
A HUGE Thank you first goes out to Rashy and Momma Rash for their excellent hospitality. You really made the trip enjoyable for us Texas THEM! Every moment of the weekend was eventful. On the drive up, MarkX had the pleasure of getting a half flattened deer carc*** wedged under his car for 100 yards, until it broke free from the rear spring bolts and came spinning out from under the rear end to have me drive over it a second time. Here is a picture of the after math on MarkX's 52!
When we got into town Friday night, we headed over to ***ton's place for some excellent hospitality, a few beers and some good conversation out in his workshop. He's really got a great house, and his T project is looking good. Can't wait to see it on the road. We then headed over to Doug-E's place. Killer big block nailhead modified T. He didn't yet have the shifter in it or even a hole in the floor for one, but we all later saw that little things like that are not going to keep him from bringing it to the party! (Thanks for the ride!) Great meeting you Doug.
Saturday morning was an early rise at the Rashy ranch. Headed out for breakfast at an excellent local breakfast stop with some kind of kiddie **** ring going on in the back. Little kids coming out of secret panels in the wall. You don't see that every day. STRANGE. Rashy said he loved this place, and they did have good food! Picked up some parts for the fuel line on Rashy's 41 and headed back to the ranch. Flat-Bl....er.....Elvis stopped by and insisted on helping get the car on the road for the party that evening.
Elvis then went for a spin on the "Trike-O-Doom"(tm). That dirt track was excellent, with just the right amount of stuff in the way to make things interesting.
We all jumped in the cars at the Rashy Ranch and headed back into town for the party. It was a great location with lots of parking and a great set up inside. The Chili was top notch. A few of us were doing some 6% "talking" out in the parking lot when the Hag made his entrance. He uh.... pulled a 4 block long burnout all the way up to his perfectly paralleled parking space next to the club before the drive shaft said it couldn't take it any more and tried to enter it's self into the door prizes. Yeah. That's my story and I'll back you up on that Hag!!!
Inside the music was great. The place was packed and every one was having a great time. Capn' Rash handled the giving away of some great door prizes.
Damn, I wanted that bike, but the raffle gods said it wasn't meant to be! I did make it home with some great patch panel metal for my A coupe, (THANKS Rad**** and BenD!!!) and so the weekend was more than I could have asked for. Thanks for the great time THEM! Tulsa, and now, someone else post some more pictures!
Lots of pictures! I will get THEM up tomorrow. I had a blast. I was a little stressed but it turned out great. I would like to thank everyone for making it such a great success. Will post a lot more tomorrow. later, monkey
[ QUOTE ] You lucky SOBs. I HATE WORKING WEEKENDS!!! [/ QUOTE ] Ditto. worked a 1/2 day saturday...just enough to ruin a weekend. On the other hand, I got 2 more door panels done for the '49 and got the GTO on the road.

[ QUOTE ] Who one the MFS Raffle??? evel [/ QUOTE ] Errrr, ummmmmm, I forgot all the coupon raffles. So, nobody won it. Sorry dude, I appreciate the offer though. It was just craziness on a m*** scale and there was sooooo much stuff for the raffle and such a short time to do it that I just forgot... On another note... Here are some pics... The weekend according to ELROD.
Looks like it was a great THEM! shindig. Sorry I missed the majority of our Tex*** boys, but I did have representation in H-Town on Saturday. Merc50 and K&R made an appearance. That made my home sick scars not so deep. I think it was weird that I was in Tex*** while the THEM! Tx boys were holed up in Oklahoma. Who ended up winning my old, used to be deadelvis' gold bike? I kinda wanted to win that thing back, I guess I need to build another kool bike. MAN! that deer carnage is crazy!!! I enjoyed the Elrod take on things do***entation. Elrod you should be careful, it looks like you're turning into Monkey! Reverend Jake
Chase won the bike. And you we do need to build another one, for Bubba. It was a blast, saw Norma there but we were so busy running around getting things together that I spoke to her about a second before the next thing popped up. I would really appreciate copies of pictures that anyone there took so that I can archive them for historical purposes. Also, I got this crazy idea to start a "You Should Have Been Here to Defend Yourself Award." This award will be given each year to someone who should have been there but couldn't because their priorities are all jacked up. This years lucky winner was Merc50, rest his soul. Here is the award..... The presentation...... Note the laminated flyer attached to the bottam with the rails to protect its integrity, also, the way cool THEM! logo. Also, it wasn't enough to incorporate Lord Byron's love of all things skateboard,,,, I felt compelled to include the H.A.M.B. trademark, the most Anti-goldchainer thing out there.... Yes, the board was shot with a fresh coat of flat black and the wheels were painted red with wide whites. Do not try this at home.... I am a trained professional.... Let me know how that board works out for ya Byron! Also, I noticed StangZilla knocked the rear trucks loose so you may want to check that before you cruise the halls at school.
that curb was so sticky.sorry about the trucks Byron. check out the hillbilly with the beard, good looking s.o.b.

[ QUOTE ] Looks like you're prepping to receive the "money shot' in some cheap 70's ****! [/ QUOTE ] naw, that face is expressing my discomfort from the CURIOUS RASH I received sometime on saturday... I need some Calamine lotion
Flex, Calamine don't take off the rash ole Rashy gives away! Hey Rash, why did Norma and Vern have to pay to get in? The whitewalls on the sk8board are a nice touch. Reverend Jake
