Hey guys, I've been working on this for a while. Essentially, it's a new feature that allows you to leave feedback on sellers in the classifieds section. It's a plugin that I actually hired someone to code about a year ago. However, I wasn't happy with it at all at the time and have been slowly recoding some aspects of it. It's still not perfect, but I think it's good enough to get us going....
Good deal! It LOOKS good so far. I did notice that there seems to be an option for Sellers to leave feedback, so I checked one of my old classifieds, but I did not see an option to access the feedback feature in it. Not sure how that bit is supposed to work.
I noticed it and wondered if I could give myself good feedback. I like the idea, it should be more natural for ebay users to use then the bad sellers list.
I like the feedback idea because some of us try to get things shipped quickly, where others take forever. Quick question though, is it like ebay where you have it setup so ONLY a buyer/seller can rate, or could there be some potential "revenge" feedback for 2 guys butting heads that maybe never actually had a deal? Or, for example, lets say X is selling something. Y says he will take it. Y never sends payment. Can X give Y feedback even though a sell never took place? Can Y retaliate even though it was Y that was the asshat? I think once the feedback gets going, it might get a few flaky buyers/sellers to step up their game.
I like the idea for several good reasons...My question would be...would you be able to see who left the feedback?
But it would be more fun the hard way. I wonder how much I would have to pay HRP to give me some good feedback. I think it is a good idea, there was a time when it was easy to see who was who now there are just too many on here to keep track of.
Thanks, was just curious since some people dont understand the difference between a disagreement and being a tool. Hope it goes smooth for all the mods.
