There's a new HAMBer in town and his name is.......

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Tman, Feb 17, 2007.

  1. Thanks guys. the 36 hours was more frustration than anything, the drugs weren't working. The little guy is a content little baby so far. Mom sent me off for a pint and then home to take care of our other baby (pyrennese/lab) tonight so she can rest.

  2. New house, new kid... looks like your ducks are in a row. Congrats!

  3. Way to go Trent, couldn't be happier for you and your wife. 36 hours eh, she probably said alot of mean things to you didn't she:D

And like was said already, enjoy every minute of them growing up, cause in the blink of an eye they grow up and move to Denver and leave you to build hotrods all by yourself:(

  4. Rudy, we live in the Black Hills, by the time the kid is 2 he will know that we don't give a **** how they do it in Colorado!:D (other states rag on cali but we picked CO, old mountainbike thing. They cant stand that our riding is better!)

Footnote, the Black Hills are actually the Eastern most extension of the Rockies and the highest point until you hit the Pyrennese Mts, 7242 foot Hearny Peak.

  18. Frank, your PM made me smile. Thanks to you and others Pms the last few days.

We are still in the camper (really it is s****y and warm) for a couple days. All I need to do before we move into the house is get the tub grouted. Lots of work still but the 2nd floor is finished minus the trimwork. Things should be tidy by midweek when they come home.

Grandad, my mentor and hero glowed when I told him we used the same middle name he gave me and his dad gave him. Gotta keep it in the family.....

  19. Thanks man, you still coming this way soon? You can meet him in person.BTW, when I called Art to tell him, he was working on that Black Rambler floptop you saw. It is about done.

    Congrats Tman,
    Parenthood is great.

I'm one year into it and I couldn't be happier. Its rough to find time to do things, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

You have so many things to look forward to.

    .......where's the pics?
    This thread needs pics. :)

  23. Great news.......congrats!!

    Congratulations Trent!
Your life just changed forever. My baby just turned 24, middle daughter just turned 28, Jason (JEB on the HAMB & mostly the Jockey Journal) will be 36 this summer. They have given me the greatest joys in my life, and have given me some of my greatest heartaches, but the heartaches have been few & far between and were all a long time ago.
Now, get the house and shop finished so you can come to the HAMB drags this year! I still got that case of Shiner Bock for you and Fiddy really missed you!!:D

Cogratulations T! Remember, wrenches and sockets are the best way to teach fractions.

  28. Trent -

The gods of fertility have indeed been merciful, my friend! Congratulations on your new heir, and for the rigorous ***ual *********** that I understand precedes these sort of things.

On behalf of the entire HAMB, may I just say: I hope Tboy inherited his mother's looks.

  29. Mmmmm, Shiner. Speaking of Texas, I saw El Jefes goateed face sitting in the crowd on Austin City Limits last night.

Pics should happen later today, stolen net connection at home isnt very strong. I will wait until I am back at the hospital. Going to fire up the 54 for the ride home later this week, that makes me happy.
