Will you be coming out with an app for any of the other Atomic Industry sites like Jockey Journal and Garage Journal, etc.?
The JJ app rules. I just have an ipod touch because I'm too damn cheap to get an iphone. It's great for when the wife and kids are hogging the laptops. I can just hide in the closet with my ipod. LOL
I vote for Android as well. I've been fiddling with some Android app development lately, and now I've finally gotten a decent real Android device to test with...
I just downloaded this app on my iphone and it really is awesome! Worth spending a few bux on for sure, and a lot faster loading than the internet site is on the phone.
yeah for a media device the ipod touch is hard to denie.. it dose what it dose so damn well.. its not the best for audio.. but i do not have perfect pitch so im ok with it.. i use android for my phone and ebook reader i have a nook color.. great reading device.. im guilty i like gadgets.. the older i get i may ditch the ipod for a ipad just for the bigger screen ( and all he apps iv bought for my ipod would still work for the most part). but for now my eyes are fine and i can wait for apple to go through a few more generations with the ipad so i get all the features at one time.. my ipod is a gen 3, i was to cheap to update to generation 4 for a camera i wont use.. hell i hardly use the one on my phone. now if they would come out with a ipod touch with 250gigs i would update today, not tomorrow.. but i doubt that will ever happen ( hey apple i know you read this.. id be ok with a micro memory stick too.. make it happen and ill buy a gen 5 ipod this month maybe even on the release date ).. . and pick one up. another vote for android. chris.
I would access from my Droid a lot more if there was an app. Not complaining, just encouraging. All my bike build pics went to Facebook since it was easy. I may have to get an iPhone before I start on my Model A project so I can post those pics to the HAMB. I'd rather spend the money on parts though.
So I down load the up date and now the App is stuck on the 7th of September can not see the 8th or the 9th Jalopy Journal. So far I do not see a sign out or sign in button as the last version so it is now all history, or I dump the app and spend the buck again. Great update
This is a test. I'm having trouble posting picks now that I've updated? Hmm. That worked, but the nice thing about before was that they were not attachments but full size in the thread??? A little help please? Sent from my iPhone using TJJ sucka!
Ryan, I just read that the upgrade was free, but it charged me a buck. It was worth it but just wondering
If you had the previous version and it charged you for an update, you need to contact apple. They took your dough - not me. If you run into any trouble, let me know.
Thanks for the update. It's great. Although I'm typing this from a computer and not my phone, I spend about 95% of the time on here on my iPhone.
Just downloaded the app. First post to tjj from my iPhone! I'm relieved that it switches to landscape.
if it was me id delete the app, and re download it and see if that helps.. also try to reboot your phone/ipod first.. if you have done this.. then id delete the app and re download it. only ideas i can think of. good luck. iv applications do some funky things i could not explain at all. random error a re always the most annoying. chris.
Without beating the droid drum again, I'm just glad that you are doing this type of stuff so we can enjoy the HAMB so easily in or day to day lives. Thanks Ryan!
I wonder who the 30 weirdos are that use a Samsung. I had the 1.0 app, but I only used it once or twice. It was ok, but I ended up just going with the full version to cruise the site anyway. The app version was too edited for me. But, then a couple of weeks ago my 4 yr old son got a hold of it for a while and my 1 and only app I ever downloaded came up MIA. I guess he trashed it somehow. Can I upgrade to the new version to give it a shot without having to pay again? PS, I've got a password on it now. Was lucky, doesn't look like he got into losing anything else or buying my some stuff I didn't want.
