There's such a thing as TOOO low...

  1. It's obvious your car isn't too low. You've just lost travel. I'd look at your clearence at your bumpstops. Before changing the spindles,I'd change out the springs. If you just change the spindles,it'll raise the car,but the travel won't change. New springs will do the trick. And don't fuck with the back,'til you get the front sorted out. Lowering the back isn't gonna raise the front. It's just gonna tilt it a little, and you'll still have the same problem up front.

  2. BTW,yes there's "too low". I had 1" clearence between my drainplug and and the ground! I got some new, coils and raised the front about 2 1/2" and now it looks better and the ride is fantastic.[IMG]

  3. If you look at the whitewall on the front,it used to be almost covered by the fender.

Thanks Stacy, I may take you up on that!

My tires rub on a sharp turn as well, they are also DB's, and it scares me, as if you feel how thin they shave down the sidewall when making the tire into a whitewall, its a lot thinner than an unmodified tire. I do have that magic button (dont tell anyone, ok?) that can give me more clearance when needed, but that isnt exactly convenient when when turning off of a major road.

I also have the 11" brake conversion on my front end....
